What are the rental conditions?
You must be at least 21 years old, own and have a valid driving license dating at least 1 year and present an identity document in the process of valid.
Specific conditions may apply depending on the type of vehicle.
What are the necessary items to make the car rental?
For individuals:
1. A debit card
2. A good or voucher as proof of prior payment of the vehicle
3. The debit card of the main driver with funds available for the deposit of warranty
4. The valid and complete driving licenses of each driver, dating from at least one year
5. The passport or identity card
for companies: Kbis extract of less than 3 months for associations: Statutes of the association
Is it compulsory to have a specific permit for the rental of a utility?
No, all of our vans can be carried out with a standard car permit - B license
Online reservation
How to book on the site?
On the home page, enter your rental dates and times, the desired vehicle category, then click on "see available offers".
The vehicles corresponding to your criteria will be offered to you. Options will then be offered to you during your reservation.
How to create a customer account on the website?
On the "driver" page, click on "Create an account", you will be redirected to a form allowing you to fill out your personal information.
Upon validation of your information, you will receive a registration confirmation email.
When should I make the payment of my rental?
Online, payment must be made before confirmation of the reservation on the website.
In agency, you have the possibility of paying at the time of your reservation at the counter
Insurance and franchises
What are the standard insurance included?
Mandatory civil liability for all damage caused to third parties. The passengers are covered even in the event of a responsible disaster.
The collision Damage Waiver (CDW) which reduces your responsibility to the amount of the deductible in the event of an accident wrongly or without identified third party.
Cancellation - Modification
How to modify an online reservation?
You can modify your reservation:
- Online ("My reservations" section): up to 24 hours in advance, for all people who have created an account, or via the "Contact" tab for people who have booked in guest mode.
- Or with your departure agency : at any time before departure.
In case of modification, what will be the price of my reservation?
The agency will adjust your reservation at the rate in force of the day. You will then be invited to adjust the difference when taking care of the vehicle. If an amount has been deducted in excess, the agency will reimburse during invoicing.
How to cancel an online reservation?
Any cancellation must imperatively be the subject of a written request from the Customer via the "Contact" tab and a confirmation will be sent to the Customer. Please read below the options put at your service in the event of a cancellation:
Reservation of the reservation
Any confirmed rental will not be refunded, however we are able to provide you with a validity of one year in place.
Refund
if a case of force majeure (illness, accident, ...) obliges you to cancel your reservation, the reimbursement of the amount paid for the reservation will be accepted under presentation of valid proof. Alwego invites you to subscribe to a "cancellation insurance" which allows you to cancel freely, your reservation, up to 24 hours before your leaving for rental. If this guarantee is subscribed, we will reimburse you the amount of your reservation from which the price of "cancellation insurance" will be deducted.
